New regulations for carrying liquidsNew measures of security have been published regarding restricted articles in the hold and carrying liquids. These measures apply to all flights departing from and transiting through the European Union (including French departments and territories overseas), whatever the destination.

Baggage allowance
The permitted weight and number of luggage items carried free of charge in the hold is known as your baggage allowance.Regulations
The authorised maximum weight is 20kg for hold baggage and 5kg for hand luggage.
The maximum authorised size for hand luggage is 40x20x50cm.
If you wish to travel with luggage weighing more than the authorised weight you will be charged a
supplement of €2 per excess kilo on check-in.
In general, if you do wish to travel with extra luggage please let your travel agent know when
booking, or call 0825 808 228 (€0.15/min).
Hand Luggage
In order to travel comfortably, only keep items needed to ensure your well-being during the flight. Your hand luggage should not weight over 5kg and should not exceed the following size: 40x20x50.
Definitions and rules of transport- "Hand luggage" or "cabin baggage" is any other baggage that is not left in the hold.
- In your hand luggage you should keep:
- valuable items such as your keys, mobile phone (switched off), identification, important documents, money, any objects of value, jewellery etc.
- Fragile items: camera, computer equipment, etc.

Restricted and prohibited items in the cabin
Restricted goodsThe products below are subject to specific regulations (not exhaustive):
- Food products of animal origin Bringing meat, milk or meat and dairy products into the European Union is subject to stringent import regulations for health protection. Please check with the local health authorities.
- Edible oils
Oils are authorised in the cabin when placed in a fully airtight bag below the seat in front of you, complying
with the compulsory European safety measures (up to 100ml in a clear, re-sealable plastic bag).
They are also authorised in the hold in a sealed container. - Perfumes and aerosols These are prohibited in the cabin. Up to 2kg or 2 litres per person and 500g or 500ml per item are authorised in the hold.
- Syringes for medical use Authorised onboard with a valid doctor's note, proof to be presented when checking in, handling is your own responsibility. Please do not leave them in the aircraft. The request to carry syringes for medical use is to be made in advance at the time of booking.
- Cartridges, ammunition for hunting or sport.
Prohibited in the cabin, authorised only in the hold, packaged correctly in a hard case.

For your security, certain articles are strictly prohibited on board. They should never be in your possession or in your luggage.
- Knives, swords, guns or anything that resembles that type of object.
- Cigarette lighters and lighter fuels are strictly prohibited on flights from and to the United States of America. This rule applies regardless of their model and type of fuel.
- Batteries containing electrolyte.
- Fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, flares, toy guns, firelighters or tear gas.
- Camping stoves, gas, gas cylinders or diving cylinders.
- Paint, varnish or lacquer.
- Toxic, infectious and radioactive materials.
- Chemicals, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and insecticides.
- Paint strippers, bleach, chlorine and detergent.
- Flammable liquids such as fuel, thinner, solvent and acetone.
- Mercury thermometers, barometers.
