Aqui Cuba Festival, November 6th to 9th, 2008.

This must-see event celebrates every year Cuban dances and music in Rennes and Pont Péan. It allows everyone, kids and adults, novices and initiates, to enter the atmosphere of the largest island of the Caribbeans.
For its 6th edition, the Aqui Cuba Festival will welcome an exceptional dream team of Cuban dancers and the mythic Elito Revé Orchestra, one of the most important orchestras in the history of modern Cuban music.
On the menu: a whole weekend of intensive training courses to be introduced to or to improve in both traditional (Yoruba or Afrohaitian) and popular (Son, Casino, Salsa Suelta, Reggaeton or Despelote) Cuban dances. These training sessions are animated by a team of professional Cuban dancers from all over Europe and even Cuba for this special occasion.

Yaouank Festival, November 5th to 22nd, 2008.

For this 10th edition, the Yaouank Festival maintains its position of must-see event for actual Breton music and the biggest fest-noz in Bretagne.
For these last 10 years, the best Breton artists have shared their passion with a public every year larger. Organized by Skeudenn Bro Roazhon, contries un collaboration that unite 50 associations and more than 4000 members, Yaouank aims at allowing young people in Bretagne to discover a dynamicand and broaden Breton culture through music, dance and singing in Breton or Gallo.
Once again this year, on scenes of the Champs Libre, the Antipode, the Cité and the Misik Hall and its 7000 seats, Yaouank will make the day with its strength and master words: "cdiscovery", "creation" and "diversity".
